Yamaguchi Province – Japan making a big step in cooperation with Binh Duong Province – Vietnam

Binh Duong Chairman of People’s Council Pham Van Canh and Binh Duong Chairman of People’s Committee Tran Van Canh worked with Yamaguchi (Japan)’s delegations led by Governor Tsugumasa Muraoka and Chairman of People’s Committee Motonari Hatahara.
This was also the good occasion for Yamaguchi leaders to better understand Binh Duong’s economic-social development, infrastructural investment and other core projects, as well as its future planning development in order to build various and effective cooperation between the 2 sides.
Chairman of People’s Committee also generalized Binh Duong economy-society recently. Up to now, Japan has invested in Binh Duong 232 projects with total of $US 4,9 billions, ranking 39 among countries and regions. The first official visit of Inter-Senator was to promote coordination between 2 provinces: going to further discussion on many fields such as : economy, tourism, education, agriculture…
Previously, Eastern International University (Binh Duong) and Yamaguchi University (Japan) on 21/08 signed a memorandum about education cooperation, students exchanges between 2 sides. This event promisingly widen and deepen more program cooperation in the future, leading to more tie relation between Binh Duong Province and Yamaguchi Province.
On 25/12/2014 the 2 Provinces’ leaders in Yamaguchi signed a memorandum about friendly cooperation. The 2 sides on 05/2015 discussed the possibility of starting a cooperation in 5 main fields : establishing Vietnam – Japan Industrial Park, trade-tourism cooperation, agricultural-hightech investment appealing, education and medicine cooperation.
