Vietnam exports lumber and wooden products reached us $4.4 billion

(Nhan Dan news) according to Vietnam wood and forestry association (Vifores), before August this year, the Vietnamese exports lumber and wooden products reached us $4.4 billion.
However, Vietnam lumber and wood exports to each market are all decline, especially China and Norway (two markets decline of 40%). In addition, Vietnam to Finland, India, South Africa markets such as lumber and wood products exports fell, too. Vietnam to Cambodia, Mexico and Portugal markets such as lumber and wooden products exports are growing rapidly.
Vifores representative said, among the existing export market, the United States is Vietnam's biggest export market of lumber and wood products, accounted for 39.5% of total of Vietnam lumber and wood products exports, followed by Japan ($553.5 million), accounting for 14.6%; China ($535 million), accounting for 14%; ($327 million), South Korea, countries accounted for 8.6%.
