Binh Duong to clear obstacles for Korean buisnesses

Vice Chairman of Binh Duong, Mr.Tran Thanh Liem, and other Province’s authorities on 18/08 had a talks with more than 70 Korean businesses in Binh Duong. Mr Park Noh Wan, Korean General Consulate in HCMC, who was the head of Korean businesses in Binh Duong also joined in. 
There were more than 10 groups of questions that Korean businesses would like to raise to the Binh Duong authorities: power cut-offs without notification; power prices increase impacting on production; intellectual properties, administrative procedures simplification,… At the meeting, authorities from Department of Sciences and Technologies, Department of Transportation, Department of Public Security, Binh Duong’s Board of Management,  VSIP’s Board of Management, Tax Department, Binh Duong Power Corporation responded to questions and suggestions to businesses.  
Mr Park Noh Wan, Korean General Consulate in HCMC, highly appreciated talks held by Province’s authorities. This not only promoted cooperation, but also untie difficulties for Korean investors in Binh Duong. Korean General Consulate and Korean Businesses Association would continue to call for Korean investment in Binh Duong.
Korea currently had 515 investment projects with total capital of $US 2 billion, ranking 3rd. From the beginning of 2015 until now, Korea was having 25 new projects and 14 adjusted project with the new adding value of $US 134,2 million in Binh Duong.
According to Province’s statistics, in the first 7 month this year, foreign investment was $US 1,254 billion, higher compared to year’s plan at 25%. This growth was at 18%, ranking 2nd.
